Medihoney is the term used for the antibacterial, medical grade, predominantly Manuka, honey used in this product. Medihoney provides a natural alternative for wound healing and protection. It is an easy to apply gel, in a 25gm tube, which natually CLEANS the wound of bacteria, dead tissue, dirt and debris by drawing it into the dressing. It also PROTECTS by reducing the risk of infection, and lastly, it HEALS by creating a moist, low pH environment that promotes new tissue formation and wound healing. Suitable for use on children, large areas and all stages of wound healing. Great for general first-aid and most wounds including burns, surgical wounds, cuts and grazes.
