Be super warm in this New Zealand made hat that has features to set it apart from an ordinary beanie. Knitted from the exceptional quality yarn of 50% New Zealand Merino lambswool, 40% possum fur and 10% nylon it is truely a winner. The all over, 'houndstooth' like, check pattern knitted into the hat itself is mid brown in colour, complimenting the natural beige colour of the rest of the hat, while the 8cm (3") deep turned out brim is the opposite with the pale checks on the mid brown background. The crown of the hat is plain knitted and pulled together from the sides to meet in the middle, where it is attractively tied together with a long knitted cord that is in a bow. Each end of the cord has a geniune possum fur pom pom attached to it. Hand wash with care. Buy this hat separately or in a set with matching gloves and scarf.
