This beautiful sheepskin hat will provide you with warmth, comfort and great style. It is hand crafted locally in South Canterbury from slink or lamb skin, (baby sheep), and Possum fur. Possum fur comes from an introduced pest to New Zealand that is rapidly destoying our native forests. This ladies hat has a flat round crown to which panelled sides are attached. Around the bottom is a trim of natural undyed brown Possum fur. It is designed to fit the head snuggly and it provides excellent insulation from cold temperatures. This hat is available with the crown and sides in black lambskin or in dark brown. If your hat becomes wet it will not be damaged, but ensure it is left to dry naturally away from a direct source of heat. Should it ever require cleaning, specialist drycleaning is recommended.
