The Tin Shed is fortunate to be situated in a stunning location
within our beautiful land, Aotearoa, New Zealand.
Our goal is to look after this land – ensuring it is pure,
clean and green for the generations that follow us.

WHAT ARE WE DOING TO ACHIEVE OUR GOAL?

• We are selling products that are made in here in
New Zealand from renewable natural fibres such as wool,
mohair, alpaca and angora.

• We sell possum fur products. Possums can be legally
trapped in New Zealand as they are an introduced pest
destroying our native forests and birds.

• We recycle and compost waste generated on and around
The Tin Shed and attempt to minimize the waste sent to
landfill.

• We are working towards the introduction of more
environmentally friendly packaging.

• We have planted New Zealand native plants around our
land to encourage native birds, reptiles and
insects.

HOW CAN YOU HELP TO?

• Purchase our merino, possum fur and other products
made in New Zealand from renewable resources.

• Dispose of your rubbish in the appropriate recycling,
compost or landfill bins.

• Ask for no packaging on your goods or request paper or
purchase one of our Tin Shed enviro bags.
