Description

Experience all the comfort and warmth of duckdown with our Sarah classic, 3/4 length, lightweight down coat. This statement coat is a winter wardrobe staple.

This coat is slightly shaped in the waist to give a flattering fit and has discreet pockets on both sides which zip securely. The 'polo' style zip collar gives a snug warm fit around the neck and this coat has the added advantage of a fully detachable hood which is readily unzipped. The full length double ended zip enables you to un-zip from the bottom of the coat to gain greater leg movement when needed.

This coat is a generous length and measures around 90cm from the top of the shoulder to the base of the coat. At just 400g it packs into the small carrier bag provided so it is ideal for travellers and those that love the outdoors. The Moke coat is incredibly lightweight and showerproof only.

Designed in New Zealand in Oamaru by Moke made in China from Fill: 90% duck down 10% waterfowl feathers Shell: 100% nylon. Moke down is R.D.S certified, ensuring that all our down is ethically sourced.  A good down jacket should have at least 80% Duck down. If there is more than 20% feather composition you are more likely to get shedding of feathers.

Down is possibly nature's greatest insulation, and one of the easiest to adapt to human use. Down is a lightweight and 'feathery' feather, which when combined with more Down, traps a very large amount of air. This air is then heated by the body to provide insulation. Additionally, Down has the marvellous ability to breathe, lifting away perspiration so you don't experience the clamminess which often occurs when wearing synthetics. 
 
The model wears a Size S and is 177cm (5'9) tall with an 83cm bust, 66cm waist and 86cm hip.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Turn garment inside out, machine wash on cold with a mild detergent that does not have fluorescing agents. Do not use fabric softeners or bleach. Once washed place your garment in the dryer with 3 clean tennis balls to return feathers back to original loft. Do not iron or dry clean.

Due to the lightweight nature of this garment, some feathers may occasionally protrude through the layers due to friction or static. DO NOT pull these feathers out, instead pinch the feather from the inside of the body and pull it back into the inside of the body of the jacket. Pulling feathers out can create holes in the fabric and should be avoided.

    Sizing wasn't accurate. The coat was too big in the body and short in the arms. The pockets are flimsy and small and there are only two in the whole coat. Other than that its warm and very light.

    I was most impressed with the speed of delivery -3 days Wellington to Canberra and I love the coat. I bought large because I want to wear it over jumpers but Ive found the sleeves to be a bit short for this. I was disappointed to find that the pocket had not been stitched down on the inside of the jacket to create an inside pocket on each side, which I've found very handy on other jackets. Perhaps an idea for the future! Quite happy with the lovely coat. Thanks

    My second Moke purchase. I have a shorter version purchased 2 years ago which is also great to wear. Warm and cosy on really cold days and light as a feather.
