    Merino and possum yarn

Posted by Emily Wied on 11th Feb 2018

I purchased this yarn about ten years ago for myself and some for a gift while visiting the Tin Shed. My friend and I both knit caps with it and absolutely love the warmth and lightness in weight they have. I just recently sent for a couple more skeins for another nice project. I hope it continues to be available. Thank you for carrying it, Tin Shed!

Soft and warm and easy to knit

Posted by Cheryl on 13th Apr 2016

A lovely wool to knit with. Managed to put into balls fairly easily by wrapping it around the top of a chair and balling it that way (my husbands suggestion). It is expensive but I think worth the money as it is much cheaper to knit a garment than purchase one in the stores,
especially in Australia, as possum knitwear is very expensive .Would highly recommend this yarn
