Description

This Plain Crew Neck Jumper by Lothlorian is a classic everyday sweater that is lightweight, warm and highly insulating. It has raglan sleeves, a crew neckline, ribbed bands on the cuffs and hems, and is extremely versatile - you can wear this out to lunch or outdoors. Made with a superior blend of 40% possum fur, 50% merino wool, and 10% nylon. Merino wool provides natural warmth and insulation while still allowing the skin to breathe, and possum fur is a hollow fibre that offers superior warmth and is incredibly lightweight. Proudly made in New Zealand by Lothlorian.

Available in sizes XS-XXL. Approximate sizing is provided below. The first model photographed is wearing a size S and is approx. 170cm tall and normally wears a size 8.  

Please note that due to the natural properties of this garments materials, there may be slight variations in measurements. These garments are designed to relax with wear as they warm to your body. For the best fit, we recommend choosing a size that is slightly firm at first, this ensures a comfortable fit over time. A looser initial fit may become overly relaxed with wear.

    I now have every colour of crew neck sweater from the Tin Shed and have worn some for some for years. They are wonderfully soft and warm, and have been admired by many people in Victoria B.C. Canada where I live. The Tin Shed sells on line, and I would recommend looking them up on google. They not only sell sweaters, but you can also find all kinds of other goods.

    I purchased my first Lothlorian sweater when driving past their store in the middle of NZ. I was in love with my navy sweater but unfortunately didn't follow the washing instructions properly, so little by little, it got smaller... after a year of carrying around a shrunken sweater, I gave in and ordered a new one online. (I am now in Canada!) It's still my all-time favourite! Ideal for lounging, camping, grocery shopping, everything :)

    These sweaters are light and yet warm for our Canadian winters. The colours are intriguing: a richness that I have not found anywhere else.

    Love possum hair products

    This is my third possum hair sweater, as I love the fact they are so light and also so magnificently warm. The fur comes from possums a species not native to NZ- they are a pest and breed prolifically. This removes my guilt about killing animals for fur. As I feel the cold badly even in Australia my 3 possum hair sweaters get a lot of use in winter and become the preferred choice as they are so light and warm, feel great and look fabulous.
