New Zealand Delivery
Within NZ we use NZ couriers and NZ Post courier service for overnight delivery to all cities and towns around New Zealand.
Delivery in Auckland will often be slower than to other places.
Delivery to rural areas is by NZ post rural service, a slower service that may take up to three or four days for delivery.
Packaging and Processing of Orders
If the goods you have ordered are in stock, then your order will be packed and dispatched on either the same or next day.
If the goods you have ordered are out of stock, then we will order them in from the New Zealand manufacturer. These will usually be delivered in one to three days time. If there is going to be a longer delay than this, we will contact you by email or phone to discuss the delay.
How shipping rates are calculated
Shipping rates are based on the weight of the parcel and the destination country that the parcel is going to. Postage is more expensive to countries that are farther away from New Zealand.
Tracking
Parcels cannot be tracked directly using the consignment number on your parcel. But NZ Post does have the ability to track these parcels and are able to provide us with updates and more information if a parcel is delayed or goes missing. If you are worried about your parcel please contact us and we will then find out information from NZ Post about your parcel and pass this on to you. Your goods will be fully insured against loss or damage in transit. Parcels may be sent to PO Boxes or to street addresses.
Your parcel will be handled by USPS in USA and Parcel Force in the UK. In most countries parcels will be delivered by your national postal delivery organisation.
International Delivery
Please Note: International orders will have 15% NZ GST tax deducted from the price at checkout.
We offer two different ways to ship your goods, International Air Post and International Courier.
Both services are operated through New Zealand Post. International Courier is a faster service that can be fully tracked by you, but does cost more.
About International Air Post
Most of the parcels that we ship to destinations outside of New Zealand are sent by this service. It is a safe, economical service that is available to 220 countries worldwide.
Target Delivery
7 to 12 working days, although this does vary between countries.
About International Courier Service
This is a faster but more expensive service that is currently available to selected countries world wide and includes Australia, North America, most countries in Europe, and selected countries in the Pacific, Asia and South America. The service is very safe and reliable and your goods will be fully insured.
Target Delivery
2 to 6 working days to major cities (may take longer to smaller centres).
Tracking
You will be able to track the progress of your parcel using the consignment number on www.nzpost.co.nz
A physical delivery address rather than a PO Box is preferable for this service.
Deliveries will be made by a courier company such as DHL.
Delivery Delays
Some countries will hold parcels in customs for inspection and at times this can delay the delivery of your order. It happens more often in UK and Europe than in other countries and unfortunately we have no control of this process.
Customs / Import Regulations
You will most likely be charged customs duty when your parcel arrives in your home country. This probably will be close to the NZ tax that you had deducted. For this reason we suggest that you do not look upon the subtraction of NZ tax as a saving.
