Lothlorian Merino

Description

This Merino and Possum shaped jacket in a 4x2 rib is an extremely flattering fit, successfully elongating the torso and adding shape to the waist area. The full length zipper enables the jacket to be worn with a collar or zipped all the way through for a snug neck. This would be an ideal golf jacket or jacket for the outdoors as it is soft, warm and insulating. The blend of 50% Merino wool, 40% Possum fur and 10% nylon is breathable and not bulky.

Hand wash and dry flat naturally following care instructions attached.

Available in sizes XS-XXL. Approximate sizing is provided below. The models photographed are wearing a size S and are approx. 170cm tall and normally wear a size 8.

Please note that due to the natural properties of this garments materials, there may be slight variations in measurements. These garments are designed to relax with wear as they warm to your body. For the best fit, we recommend choosing a size that is slightly firm at first, this ensures a comfortable fit over time. A looser initial fit may become overly relaxed with wear.

Lothlorian Merino-Possum Rib Jacket

I bought one of these sweaters (wouldn't call it a jacket, but I like that-didn't want a jacket really) in NZ 20 years ago. It finally gave out and I was thrilled that Lothlorian is still making them! It is perfect-warm, pretty, and comfortable. I hand wash them and they stay soft and lovely. No need to dry clean. I plan to order two more just in case they stop offering them. I always get the black and I figure that with the one I just received and the two I will be ordering to save for the future, I should be set for the rest of my life. Many thanks to both Lothlorian for knitting them and The Tin House for selling them.

Lovely warm, well-shaped jacket. I really like the teal colour - it's mixed with a touch of black to give it a soft quality, not bright.

I didn't realise that you had changed from being a straight jacket to a shaped jacket which is why the sizing appears to be different from my previous purchase. I prefer the straight jacket.

Stunning colour

I ordered this cardigan and I absolutely love the colour. It's deep and rich and vibrant, and a pleasure to wear. There is a small amount (10%) of synthetic fibre in the jacket, and so it doesn't feel quite as soft as some of my other possum/merino jumpers, but maybe that will change as I wash and wear it more. It may be nothing to do with the synthetic fibres.

Bought teo ofcc CD thesr stunning esrn cosy yet stulish cardi coats. In lixurious trd and govto black. Dressy snd casual snd dsuper comfy. Love the subtle zip that when worn open jacket looks l dressy like an edge to edge cardi jacket but soft touch on zip and looks like a jumper ready for ourdoor rambling or couch potatoinhg!

Georgeously soft and luxurious wool and possum fur. Lovely zipped up on a cold day when everyoneve else whingeing about wind chill. Team with dressy outfits for snappy work , lunch with friends look. Tailored loojing minus bulk comfortable wearing indoors! Thanks
