Description
Could this couple of old birds relaxing on a park bench be a rare urban sighting of the endangered Kiwi bird? Unfortunately, this is highly unlikely as the little spotted Kiwi or Kiwi Pukupuku, the least known of New Zealand's three types of Kiwi, is a threatended species, once widely distributed over the entire country. Kiwi's have no flight wings or tail and have their nostrils at the tip of their beak. This sitting Kiwi measures 40cm (16") from head to tail and includes beak. It measures 29 cm ,12 inches in sitting height. The colour and texture of the faux fur fabric from which the Husky kiwi is made closely resemble the feathered kiwi. This toy will provide pleasure for both adults or children. The Husky Kiwi is manufactured in New Zealand by Rozcraft.
