Koru Merino - Possum Two Tone Jumper

This is another beautiful New Zealand made garment by Koru and is once again made from 50% Merino wool, 40% possum fur and 10% silk.

Knitted in perfectly plain stocking stitch this ladies sweater is very slightly shaped at the side seams, has set-in sleeves and has a plain hemline (being a narrow double band that is invisibly knitted into the body).

The texture is extremely soft and the possum fur gives it a cosy, fluffy feel. The 9cm (3.5") deep folded out cuffs are knitted in a cable stitch, with black added for greater effect. These cuffs match the turned out collar which creates a loose fitting turtle (or polo) neck. The collar has an off-centre slit from its edge to its base and then it has been caught together to hold it closed, creating a very attractive style and shape.
