Description

This warm and casual Plain Zip Cardigan with Pockets is a practical, everyday garment which will be a go-to in the cooler seasons. It features raglan sleeves, a ribbed collar, waistband and cuffs, and has slanting pockets on either side. The full length zipper stops at the base of the neck and does not zip all the way through the collar. Made with a superior blend of 40% possum fur, 50% merino wool, and 10% nylon. Merino wool provides natural warmth and insulation while still allowing the skin to breathe, and possum fur is a hollow fibre that offers superior warmth and is incredibly lightweight. Proudly made in New Zealand by Lothlorian.

Cozy but seems to run large

According to the measurements, which I compared to a garment whose fit I liked, XL seemed to be the size I needed. However it was way too big so I had to return at considerable expense. Now I have a large and it’s plenty roomy but with my broad shoulders and long arms, it’s what I needed. The combination of possum fur with wool is incredibly soft and lightweight...and warm! I have a pair of gloves with this combo that I bought in New Zealand about 17 years ago and I wear them every winter and they’re still like new. I hope to have this sweater for just as long! I love it!

Best possum and merino cardigans

This is the third of these zippered possum and merino cardigans I have bought over the years. They are so light,warm and extremely hard wearing. For the price, they are excellent value.
