Description

Possum and Merino wool Hiker socks are hard wearing and provide excellent support while trekking. The blend of 30% Merino wool, 20% Possum fur, 20% Cotton, 8% Nylon and 8% Elastic provide warmth, comfort and breathability. This high performance sock features a reinforced sole with anti-blister protection and a seamless toe. The feature of a Y Heel has the advantage of maintaining the sole on the foot with added arch support and an 'Anti-Bunch Zone' to stop creasing at the ankle while moving. These features combined with the low tension top will maintain good circulation and provide optimum performance while you are walking. Proudly New Zealand made by Norsewear and available in colours beige/green and beige/orange. Warm water wash with a soft detergent and line dry.

Possum hiking socks

The softness of these socks is amazing and they are very comfortable. The size I ordered is just slightly too long and they can bunch up a little under my feet which isn’t so comfortable in my hiking books. But I have found another very practical use for them - they are very helpful for the neuropathy in my feet and so wearing them at night reduces the discomfort from the neuropathy pain. The have turned out to have a very useful alternative purpose.
