For those of you who prefer not to wear, or cannot wear, gloves you can get the same softness and warmth from these 50% Merino wool, 40% possum fur and 10% nylon mittens. New Zealand made and available in three sizes, they are a single layer of plain knitting with a double layer of elasticised ribbing at the wrist. Gentle wash in luke warm water and gentle spin. The smallest size fits a only a very small adult hand, or large childs.
This is my second order from The Tin Shed. I just love the fibers that are used to make these WARM and comfortable mittens. I discovered these when we were traveling and when I got home I realized I couldn't live without them,
Very comfy and warm specially as I have problems with bent fingers and can no longer wear gloves
Fit well and are verrrrrrrrrrrry arm! I was introduced to the combination of merino and possum when I was in New Zealand a couple of years ago and just love the warmth provided!
I'm very pleased with these fuzzy little beauties. I had a pair from a long ago trip to NZ that are still going strong like 12 years in but wanted to get another pair before they finally wear out. These are maybe slightly thinner than my old ones but they are fuzzier and softer. For a thinish wool they're very warm. The only thing is I wish there were more colours available since I would like them in light grey. The colours I ordered are nice - the black is deep and rich looking and the tan is a very natural earthy colour..
They were shipped and received very quickly even though I'm half a world away. The customer service was very helpful.
Highly recommend these mittens.
The mediums are generous in size.
