Description

These genuine lambskin gloves are made locally in South Canterbury, New Zealand, by skilled glove makers working from home. Lambskin (slink skin) is obtained from the skin of stillborn lambs and it produces mittens and gloves that are durable and ultra comfortable to wear. Each handstitched mitten bears the mark of an indiviudal craftsperson. These leather mittens are soft and can be worn in a range of environments. Whilst they are showerpoof, they also allow the skin to breathe. They have the leather to the outside and the soft lambswool on the inside. Please note colour camel /tan is only available in suede finish.

How to work out your size. Measure around the hand across the knuckles but do not include the thumb. Write down this measurement in inches.

The size small mitten is designed for hands with a measurement of 7 inches.

The size medium mitten is designed for hands with a measurement of 8 inches

The size large mitten is designed for hands with a measurement of 9 inches.

It gets cold here in fact we have had no summer really for 2 years - my hands were always cold That’s mittens are terrific - this is my second pair - large enough to put over light wool hand warmers my fingers are toasty - So soft inside

FOUR PEAKS - LAMBSKIN LEATHER MITTENS

I bought these for my daughter who bikes to school. In Winter, gloves are not as warm because the fingers are separated. She LOVES these mittens because her fingers are together and her hands stay warm. Also, they are very flexible which means she can hold the handlebars firmly (the stiffer sheepskin ones are not so good for this). I highly recommend these mittens.
